If I don't use it, that waste probably offsets the minimal savings so not sure it is really worth it.I do think about attending the Peak Building supply auction when they are in town but I never have.

People have many different strategies for finding investment properties including yellow letter campaigns, working with REO brokers, foreclosure auctions, MLS, etc.I am not sure why people have told you to stay away from listed homes.
