Buying a condo/mobile home at tax deed sale
Hello, I am considering bidding on a condo or mobile home (at a mobile home park) at a Florida tax sale. Would liens from the condo association survive the tax deed sale? Could I be responsible for any prior accumulated fees to the association? Besides having to pay fees going forward, is there anything else you can think of that I should be concerned about? Thanks.

I would assume the condo association lien would be wiped out, that doesn't mean the association will agree or that they won't try to get you to pay. I would check with an attorney to be sure the lien would be wiped out. Maybe even talk to the association and tell them what you are doing, stress that while you won't be able to pay the dues that are owed from the past, you would replace a non-paying owner and once you own it you will pay on time and keep the property in good condition.
