Basically the crack runs the entire length of the basement and you can clearly see the bowing.It's cinder block foundation.There has been pretty constant water infiltrations which have caused black mold in the basement.

So don't try to justify that you don't need the AC because renters seem to have a 15* black hole of temperature range that most people call normal.Check craigslist for technicians.

The Black Diamond events that @Ann Bellamy hosts in Waltham (2nd location in Worcester) are also great.There is also a REIA in Boston and if you want to travel a little farther there are quite a few things south of the city and some stuff in NH.Besides that keep listening to the podcasts here and reading the articles, blogs and forums and you will learn a lot.

Some other good ones that are pretty easy would be the Black Diamond meetings, which Ann is one of the co-hosts of, in both Worcester and Waltham (Believe next meetings are the 20th and 27th respectively).
