If you include your email, get a junk one from Gmail so you do not get a ton of spam to your primary one.

Spammers scrape this information out of forums and once your phone number or e-mail is on a spammer's list, you can be overwhelmed with junk calls and spam e-mail.Send a colleague request and exchange the contact info via PM.

They also get way too many fake and spam listings, so apt. search on CL is a big time-waster.Personally, I think the Padlister utility is so useful, that I can see it making CL obsolete for apt. search.I'm starting a new thread about PL, so please chime in!
