Couple experience with continuous learning and relationship building and you will become a monster. 

I put my head down and I figured it out... mind you I am a former NASA robotics scientist, so I may have a slight advantage "figuring things out"... but I still firmly believe that anyone doing this on their own will far outperform any service providers or so called expert out there!

I have clients that are getting monster rents in these neighborhoods, and the rental demand is through the roof.

And I am usually the one to tell people to stay away from monster corporations with too many standard procedures and little boxes one has to fit into.

Annoying but then again we usually only get monster snowfalls 2-3 times a year.

As for utilities, yes, most (all the ones I’ve seen) duplexes have separate utilities (especially electricity), but in a monster house situation or cottages on one property may have on water / sewer bill and use trash receptacle (garbage).
