I have access to your typical stucco 2-story in Ponce Inlet on the Halifax River 4br/3ba 2-car garage.

Antelope Valley (Lancaster, Palmdale, and beyond) are good for that.

I don't know your market down there, but I know in the valley a mediocre 2br condo will rent for 800 a month in the summer and 1200 a month during the winter months.

We are paying through the nose for a rental in Noe Valley, but we would prefer to find the right deal instead of a fast deal.I've been reading all the great info on the Bigger Pockets forums and other getting started pages.

Winnetka is about an hour drive north of Venice into the west Valley.

I'm moving to the Flathead Valley in late June and hoping to pick up my first rental shortly after.

My guess is the average size home in silicon valley has increased far more than the above pic would indicate
