I know the area has plans to invest into developing the job market and increasing its reputation as an industry hub, and I'd love to get some insight on what towns/counties you are seeing the best long-term buy and hold prospects? 

You know what's really bad for your reputation and cash flow?

Reputation is eeverything in this game.

Sometimes the reputations stick with the property, and sometimes the felons are doing what they do best.

The company manages the properties and most have tenants (their reputation is so good that they have a list of renters waiting for homes).The owner of the company will speak with you directly, if you wold like to speak with him, but I can send you brochures of photos and info on some of them to see if you'd want to proceed.

The data gets published all over the internet via Realtor.com and other agents' web sites, as well as affiliated sites like Trulia and Zillow.

I have spent 1000's of hours reading, scanning the web, going to seminars, and targeting areas.

I will say it is working, as I monitor web traffic.

hate to be the devil's advocate here, but that ad is from Baltimore. at the risk of possibly offending someone, I'm going to comment that Baltimore doesn't exactly have a reputation for maintaining the best education system... this poster may be just trying to reach out to the locals in their own (and his) vernacular.

I cannot find much info on this except on the web.
