If you have a nice portfolio of income-producting properties, I would rather loan to the LLC with organized books (and a personal guarantee); I would probably not make the loan to you personally. 

If a big organization is the only place you have worked for, have you considered working for a smaller firm.

My situation: Have a Real Estate Investment company - we do flips and have rentals - and we're a small operation, so I've not used quick books/software in the past, but this year has been a nightmare to organize, so I need to make moves to Quickbooks or some other system.

Think of it as (since you're already in school) the same organized learning plan as you are following now in college. 

Kill 2 birds with one stone.

Talk to references. (4) It's weird paying/relying on other people for every simple task. (5) Organization is key.

At some point prior to tax season, you might want to look into organizing your bookkeeping, which would include setting up a balance sheet for keeping track of assets, liabilities, and partner equity accounts.
