Hey guys,I've been posting for the past few days and forgot to introduce myself. 

Viewing went well... went to look into 203K loans and could only really get a loan for around $150k including construction costs so the deal was there just me being a single guy in my first deal financing wasn't there where I needed it to be.

I'm not an anti-stock market guy by any means, but I recognize that attractive long-term returns in equities will include a lot of volatility along the way.

So it's nice, because you can tell people they got a loan for X in X year, and you can do some basic math and figure out how much they might have left.

I've sent the request for the guy to be served 30-day notice so we'll see how that goes but ultimately it's too late to try to make it the seller problem.
