New residential build is non-existent, but there have been a few commercial new-builds go up recently (think Dollar General, Convenience stores). 

Any other retail advice:  five store fronts and office space on teh second and third floor are currently rented to restaurants, food stores, architects etc.  

I would not just turn the unit over and store their stuff .

Also, we'll have to store all of our belongings in a self-storage facility which can cost a pretty penny given the amount of sq ft needed. 

It was an endless comedy of errors, not just the SA stores, but the entire HD org as a whole.

I am planning on spending a lot of time at home improvement stores in my area but outside of doing this or hiring somebody to help me design a flip house is there anything else I can do that would prevent overspending?
