If she has a will that the property be left to her son (who unfortunately passed as well), therefore it may be passed over to granddaughter, will that will be extinguished at the sale of the property?

What about cosigner for a son/daughter of Vet for a VA loan on 2-4 units where the son has property management experience etc to get the qualifying income.
