My assumption is that people are operating under the premise that by the time they finish renovations the virus may be winding down and if they can time it right, they could hit the market on the upswing.

Many may not be lending now anyways because of market (one I have used in the past and several other rehabbers use as well told us he is finishing up current projects, but not doing anything new for at least a couple months). 

Hey BP,I recently finished rehabbing my first house hack and I plan on moving in very soon.

My wife and I were literally having the discussion of finishing our basement for her parents, as my MIL is retired and FIL is getting close to retirement. 

Im also finishing fix and flip in Staten Island NY that I was scheduled to put on the market at the beginning of this month.  

The fact that they have recently finished the fast-pass lanes on the highway is great news and means that there is expected to be a lot more commuting south down 75 from the Northwest.. to follow will be lots more retail, amenities, and housing.

We JUST finished a BRRR and are ready to refinance out of hard money, and then COVID happened and now the product we were using is no longer available.
