It is my passion and I will succeed for that reason alone.

My initial thoughts are to let my real estate acquisitions snow ball to the point that my engineering career isn't necessary, and only something I pursue as a passion.

I currently have a rental property in Austin, TX and reside in Houston, TX, where I am looking to doing some rehabbing, wholesale, lease-options, etc...I don't have much experience in the industry, besides a flip house I invested in last year with a partner of mine in San Antonio, TX.I am an engineer by trade but a future real estate guru by heart - real estate has always been a passion of mine, so what better time to get started than now?

I'm new to investing and decided to go this route because I recently went through a major layoff in corporate America, and I finally had the opportunity to do something that I was passionate about.

I love hearing other people who have that drive and passion (which is probably what I sense in most the investors here and love so much about it!) 

So thats the last shred of security I have left here - but it came with 70k, bennies.....Once thats gone - I'm on my own- Just me, my two kids, 5k bills/month, and my passion for real estate to bring it all together.

I know real estate is my passion and wholesaling is a concept that I've been studying nonstop over the past few months, and I believe I can do it.
