Could anyone recommend any real estate events, groups, discussions held in the greater Seattle, WA area that focuses solely on multi-family?

Here are some of them:This weekend, you can visit the RICH club, the Galleria area.Next Tuesday, I will be speaking at this free event in Fort Bend.Next Wednesday, there is another excellent meeting in the Heights.

As far as building the actually list or lead generation I would consider doing this by going to Investor events in your local town ( Belly to belly) There is nothing better then getting face to face with a prospect.

You can drop, raise, use a pricing app,  you can utilize knowledge of local events to price your home up or down.   

So putting both properties in separate LLC's won't make a big difference at this point to protect from loss on the mortgage.The other main liability is risk of loss from a lawsuit brought by a tenant or some event at the property.

If you get out to some of these networking events and let them know what your looking for then you can have multiple eyes out there looking for you.

I suggest real estate meetings, local REIA's, women in real estate, etc. on meetup and the events section of BiggerPockets. 

You may want to reach out to an attorney to see if your other assets would be protected in the event of various scenarios occurring in the house-hack.
