I'm trying to find something more durable than carpet (seems to only last a few years) and am turned off by pricing on vinyl plank.

I imagine DSTs initiated durning 2014-2017 did well, and those created the last 2 years…not so well.

Great location, focus on ROE with a plan to refinance out in 3 years.

Had some trouble with the city with the rental license, even though it had had a license for years. 

So a 24 year old flipping burgers at McDonalds will make $70K a year . 

I ask this because upon looking around Zillow I found a "residential-single family" home that has 12 bedrooms and the description claims that all 12 rooms rent out and that it's already being filled for the upcoming college year.

I am planning to move into the home for at least a year once the existing tenant's lease is up in a month, and I intend to keep it as a rental for the foreseeable future.

From my 6 years of living in USA, my observation, I have realized that in American norms, parents' well-being in not their kids' responsibility.
