First building has a deli/convenient store below and 2 apartments above. 2 single family homes behind and a large 2 story garage.  

Long story short, I just spoke to her new landlord who confirmed she moved in.  

And we have some examples of neighborhoods that have been up and comming now for over 20 years...But I start to see now some infill construction in some of the best neighborhoods along the lake - at a cost of course: $1.3 million for a 2,600 SF two story.

No borrower in the history of humanity has ever told the WHOLE story to a friend or colleague about why their mortgage didn't go through.I'd be curious to see what her written verification of employment says this time as well as the last time she applied for a mortgage.

I keep hearing stories of how people find their first few deals that way because of just a simple conversation with someone.
