Remember no tenant is better than a bad tenant- practice the same screening criteria- read some more posts on BP, if you are local I don't think its a bad way to get started in this experience, especially if you plan to invest.I wouldn't think it could be all that bad in Gaithursburg- Voucher or not Screen THEM ALL!

By the way Texas does have a franchise tax, but it is so small it is not worth talking about.So the investors should remember that these taxes are paid in the state the property is in, and can make a serious dent in the projected returns.
