you might want to start with what school systems you would like to focus on. i work the columbus area but i won't touch columbus city public unless it is in the trendy downtown areas. but start with school systems that will take away a lot of what you don't want. 

I'm hoping BP can fill in the gaps & be a fun place to read, post and find colleagues.
