I was at a Meetup the other day and they had asked me about if I had countered anybody on my rentals who wasn't supposed to be there and when you call the police they presented a fake lease to the police to prevent them from being kicked out.

Being a landlord is full on passive income, unlike RE pimp, mortgage guy, rehabber, wholesaler, or many other various forms of "creative" REI which are all self employed jobs.I may do another rehab as the right deals present themselves, but it is not my goal to do that as a business.

I want to be clear though that it isn't as "turn key" as it is often presented and it will get frustrating at times having a vacant property or a late tenant and you wonder what you're paying the mgmt company for....Texas has some areas with devent sfr prices that look like they could cashflow well.
