About a year into my career as a car salesman my wife wanted to get into sales as well so she decided to become a real estate agent march of 2016.

This was the small step and beginning of what I hope to be a launch into what I foresee as a life-changing career path.

Let me say this: all businesses, no matter the field, are difficult to build, the thing about wholesaling is that you it CAN turn your life around quicker than most other ventures (8-16 months) but you need to be dedicated, seriously. 

I have also started a career in the mortgage industry as a loan officer.

My goals are to gradually build wealth and cash flow over time while having a normal engineering career. slow and steady wins the race I guess :)I have been considering two common newbie strategies either owner occupying a duplex or to buy a simple single family property such as a townhouse for less but then plan to move within the next year or two and move on to the next property while renting the other.

(Rentals, flips, wholesale, etc)Below is a cool thing that I've learned in my career about teaching people.

I am a experiment project Manager in the field of building automation and looking to start my career in real estate and transition into it full time eventually.

If you have not already read, The Book on Rental Property Investing, by Brandon Turner, of Bigger Pockets, i highly suggest it if you plan to make rental properties a part of your real estate investing career. 

There is so much to learn and you cannot wait to get started because of it,  Education is a necessary evil that will help you be dominate in your field.
