I have done two moderately successful local BRRRRs and it would have been impossible to do them the way I did it out-of-state.I also house-hack my own residence and I can't recommend it enough for a beginner if everyone you live with is on board.

The title company isn't willing to help resolve the situation at all, and they are recommending that I get a survey to clear up where the boundary is with the neighbor.When I look at the GIS online, I find two different ones.

I also recommend one when unmarried partners want to invest together, for ease of tax filing if no other reason.Whether or not you NEED to put each property in a separate LLC is a great discussion to have with your attorney.
