G'Day everyone,How many of you look to other successful companies in your niche and implement something they do within your business model?

I am looking to get more into the mortgage note business but feel if I can buy properties at a huge discount the create my own notes I would be better off then buying someone else’s note. 

I live in CA and plan to invest into a RE rental property in Florida incorporating business entities for an assets protection. 

“I’ve been in business for X years.”

Regarding how to structure my business - I do not have an LLC setup as an agent and just plan on purchasing properties under my investments LLC, then getting paid as myself for my commissions.

Power of attorney is not permitted, but I did have one lender who blessed off on a corporate resolution for a stateside entity member to have signing authority for the business.

The market is booming in both the business and real estate sectors.

But if you want to set up a business and manage other properties for fees, you have to be licensed.

As such, the guru is so successful with real estate, why are they taking time away from such a profitable, lucrative business to sell their secrets to others.  

Like any business, it has had its ups and downs.
