As I understand more of what's lacking, and what I'd like to have using the trexglobal free product (free for up to 5 properties, and only $5 (or $7) a month for online payments) then I'll talk to property management about more indepth usages.

I can see where an investor can use the lack of a commission towards their purchase price with the lender, but it isn't paid out by the investor on A-B, only B-C...

iPhone is the way to goI agree with all the items Joshua mentioned, but to add, if you have an apple computer - it syncs to contacts, web favorites, and there are applications that allow you to see files on your computers hard drive remotely from your phone...my husband is a trainer at Apple, so he has all the info...I have had my phone since it came out, and really I don't know what I was doing before that!

Since I worked in a low-income neighborhood, I've also seen the effects of subprime lending, situations where lenders look to profit from that very lack of education.

@Derek FallerThe concerns I would have about Chicago are that it is starting to look like other Midwestern cities with lack of population growth in both the City and Cook County and its high violent crime rate (45 people were shot a few weeks ago in just 48 hours as an example).

I am having trouble posting questions because of a lack of prior posts.

In general though, it has a ton of potential as far as income and lack of maintenance needed for a newbie.

For example, Santa Cruz and northern part of Monterey county where there are more service industry housing affected by lack of employment from Silicon Valley.
