Now they are asking us to pay for the full cost for the repairs.What is confusing is that the main panel was faulty(broke from normal wear and tear) but it affects only our unit.

I am a bit confused so Let me explain in depth on this deal I have going right now.

There are always so many differing things you hear about stuff.One thing I think confuses a lot of starting investors is the difference between starting a large syndication pool of equity partners and getting a loan from a single private investor with a secured lien on a property that they don't have an ownership interest in.Now I am not actually sure how the soliciting differs on this, if at all.

I was thinking about using a number 10 envelope, with our logo and return address in the return address field (typed), to give off a professional image, and maybe even have their name and address typed as well.I was thinking that the benefit of the "birthday party"-looking envelope is that it would encourage them to open it, while a business-looking one may not get opened...BUT, a business-looking envelope makes you look more professional, so I'm a little confused on this one.I'm leaning towards the professional image, but just wanted to get your insight.Thanks in advance for your time.

@Rebecca Taylor The person you talked to at the  county tax office could very well have been confused and given you bad information.

Of the several I've found, one looks hopeful but it's history is a bit confusing...The property looks like it is empty - I've driven by and ran by several times in the past few weeks but haven't seen any activity.

I have a really confusing question and hope somebody will help me. we put an offer on one house, we need pay 20% which is 34000 for the down payment, we have $34000 cash but we also can use home line credit, the rate is variable 3.5%, I am not sure should I use my owe cash or the home line credit?
