Loan funds can be used to maintain operating expenses and paying bills (rent, payroll, insurance, utilities, etc.)

Some are in a great position financially that they can be very flexible and work with tenants which is great, but some others are not in as great a position and rely upon that rental income to pay the bills. 

Hey Sebastian,I haven't house-hacked, but the concept is relatively straight-forward.Purchase a multi-unit property, live in one, and have the other tenant(s) cover the mortgage and/or bills associated with owning the property.

I live at home and don’t really have any bills and right now have saved up a little over $20,000.

We have bills to pay and it's quite likely that many of us won't be eligible for the stimulus money that's earmarked for individuals or for big business.     

We're a husband and wife managing this and one other rental on our own and rely on monthly rent to cover the bills.

lets say you collect $200 net profit after all bills are paid.

Point is if your tenants are paying and/or you have the reserves, pay your bills.  

One, you have be infected with or directly affected by the virus to take advantage of the new bill.
