@Matt Friede, I also recommend Bank of Travelers Rest (try a personal meeting first) and SC Telco (they are a bit outdated in some ways, but gave us some great rates!)

As we get closer to the holidays and ending the year it will be upon us before we know it, I hope to continue to network and meet more like minded people. 

Last time I looked they posted the dates and times on meet up.com  

I just got into real estate this year and have been listening to the BP podcast, reading books and scouring forums but I was hoping to meet some others in the area as well.

Early May the seller emailed me asking if my offer was still good and I setup an appointment to meet at the home. 

Anyone can give you a contract, but it doesn't mean it would hold up in court if you ever get there.And all real estate is local - each state is different - so you need to be attending local investor meetings to learn what to do and not do in your area.

Any idea or feedback would be appreciated so that I can bring this issue at their next meeting?

@Bob Okenwa thanks for the information I’m definitely doing more research on it and even meeting with a local agent about it getting my license.
