Hi BP!

I am looking to buy my first small multifamily  property and am wondering what local banks or lenders you have had good experiences with?

Thanks!

Hey Matt,

are these 1-4 unit properties or 5 or more? For 1-4 unit properties I've worked with Valerie Lee at Upstate Mortgage (a true local broker) and Southern First. For something like this I had a much better experience with Upstate Mortgage.

For commercial properties a local lender like Synovus (formerly NBSC) Bank has been great for my needs. Happy to refer you to my guy there if that's what you need.
