I'm pursuing the more traditional avenues (WF, B of A, Chase, etc.) but if I can find better terms or service from a smaller institution that investors have had good experiences with, I'm all ears.

Loan originators are easy to find, but they're all tied to an institution, which doesn't help me.

Interesting that they’ve included those clauses to favor the institutional investor, but most like at the request of the institutional investor.If you’re uncomfortable with the terms, pass on the deal.
