We ended up buying a single family 4 bed 2 bath home on the north end of town in early may as we had been saving and i wanted to keep the ball rolling on investing and i was also trying to trust the system hoping that my manager would be able to get the other duplex unit rented as well as the single family. well here we are in late june and both are still vacant.

This lead me to convincing my wife that we needed to buy rentals ASAP, so last fall about 5 months after purchasing our primary residence we bought our first duplex in Bay City, we followed up that purchase by buying a 4 bed 2 bath single family rental last month also in bay city.

And the reason why I'm asking this is because I don't really see a way in doing this.Because the bank morgage is 300$I can at maximum charge for the other room 100-150$ I tought to maybe like add 2 beds in one room and so i can have 3 tenants , is that a good ideea?

Back in RI when I would access a property on the county assessors office it would include the features of the house (number of bed/bath/rooms/fireplace/etc).
