I think many of us here in KC are always looking to connect with quality, reputable contractors so don't be shy about introducing yourself and what you do! 

From 2016 to 2018, I invested in a couple of REITs where some reasonable pricing still existed.Now almost everything IMO is fully priced so I probably won't be investing more in RE other than reinvesting my quarterly REIT distributions back into more REIT shares.I was ok with CA properties because I bought B / B+ properties in B / B+ / A- / neighborhoods where folks care about the rental property they are occupying and their reputation.

His company is very reputable.

It's not easy, you need to build a reputation and have good deals.

For mortgage broker I do not deal with out of town only local business with a good reputation.

Talk to your CPA and find a reputable commercial broker.

These are the syndicators that really have nothing to lose because this is their first deal and their reputation isn't even built enough for it to be at stake.As to the rehab funds--one of the most common problems I see in syndications is sponsors don't raise enough money.

I guess I need to keep an open mind to areas with reputations and just connect with people who are more familiar with the area like yourself.

More than likely a reputable, in demand turnkey provider is not going to negoiate on price in today's markets.
