I wont have a problem renting the place, Ive made it a beautiful house and i have lake access.

As far as areas: doesn't really matter too much to me as long as it's close to a train line so I can get to the Daley Center (clark/lake stop on blue/green/purple, Merchandise mart on brown, lake stop on Red).  

My partner is building a shipping container daily rental place on the lake.  

If LLC A has $2,000,000 in assets and LLC B only has $1,000,000 but LLC B gets in trouble -- lawsuit from a tenant alleging negligence on your part led to her falling down an improperly maintained stairs with a baby, and this led to her and the baby all sorts of injuries, cracked skull etc..If the court enters a judgement of say $1,500,000 against LLC B, the most you can loose in whole is the $1,000,000 of assets in LLC B.

My plan is to do my investing in the Adirondack area near Lake Placid, my favorite place to escape to.My current situation: I've been out of school for a few years.

I have a small cabin down there by lake lytle. it to was a family cabin.

We are based in Provo and focus on the Silicon Slopes proximity, but we deal with southern/northern Salt Lake county as well.
