Hi,

My name is Steve Giufre, I'm 38 years old and I live in Huntington Beach CA.  I've had a couple of bad experiences in real estate investing throughout my life, and look forward to getting involved on the forums and learning how to make better decisions in the future.  I'm not sure when and where I will make the next leap, but I'm hoping to gather some general knowledge for now.

I've been a profession poker since age 21, playing mostly no limit holdem cash games both online and in casinos.  Real estate always interested me since I have never had a traditional 9-5 job, but foolishly I've never but in the time and effort like I did with poker to educate myself properly.  A friend recently recommended the BP podcasts to me, but I had no idea how much information was available here on the site.  I'm excited to get involved, and hope I can contribute something myself in the near future.
