There is a steep learning curve that you will not realize until you bite the bullet and do it, but ideally, you are going to try and make it a bit easier.Ask them about managing their property manager, the kinds of statements they get, etc.

You need a 3/4" layer of plywood, followed by a layer of hardi-backer or cement board, before you thinset and tile a floor.Your subfloor ideally should be level, and at the very least, flat.Without meeting these conditions your tiles will crack.

Not the biggest fan of options like the op, although I do some covered calls on stocks I own, but I typically make sure the end result of anything is me making at least 20% overall.Don't think stocks are better than real estate or vice-versa, a combination of both is probably the ideal scenario.
