Some I knew, others like FMR - I had no clue.  

The focus of my question is, can the insurer reject the claim on the basis that the property had no heat?

It was the first time I had no corrections on my return when the first version was sent to me, and the first time I received my Y/E journal entries without asking.   

I had no issue sending correspondence to those who did not put applications in however I am having writers block when considering those who gave me money for the screening process and genuinely hoped to get good news.I know this business takes thick skin, I don't have a problem delivering bad news.  

Countless borrowers over the years have come to me saying that they do not qualify for conventional financing because they were told that by an LO or they just assumed I guess, but actually had no issue and in fact in some cases had very low debt to income.of course DSCR loans are easier for the LO, and it some cases a handy tool, but do not assume you cannot qualify for a much better priced conventional loan. and as for all the "work" a borrower has to for a conventional loan vs DSCR is provide pay stubs/W-2's and tax returns.

He had no idea how to screen tenants or how to manage them.

It was more than we were willing to bite off and had no idea where to start.

"Zooming out", any that had no subdivision comps, I match by zip code, and update any matches found, setting the granularity to zip.3. 

On top of all that the house was rented for $650 a month (never a good sign to see low rent prices) when I have a similar property within walking distance, on a busier street, rented for $1,100.The listing agent told me it was a probate sale so had no idea when we could close.
