For revenue they run numbers as Long term rentals as they have to provide evidence for how they got to that number.

The prices going up and the population growth are evidence that this is a market to be in not one to get out of.

 DVRs do not require Wi-Fi or mobile, but if they steal the DVR then they took the evidence.  

I've heard anecdotal evidence that suggests inventory is higher in summer, however interest rates will likely be higher then too!
