In fact the online form for CAL asks for EIN and Tax Account Number--Applied for Rental License using the CAL and Business Tax Account NumberIn effect, the business tax account number bearing all the four names of the partners along with EIN tie everything together for local, state and federal tax purposes.

And it is Not the issue here.The issue is that the Seller “forgot” about the $10,000 2nd, and would have had to pay this no matter who bought it....neither of the other two buyers would have changed their price.How much a seller owes has no bearing on how much a buyer “should” pay.

Forget current tenants...consider renting the space out to someone who needs an office away from home (a lot of folks are finding that working at home with kids and pets is more than most mere mortals can bear) - or as an artist loft.
