I worked as land manager for one of the largest home builders for three years just prior to the crash, but was only responsible for property due diligence, and construction of roads, utilities, and site work for large projects; not individual single family home rehabs or individual / small scale new home communities.

As long as it is in the ira, it will continue in its tax deferred status...you will not pay tax until you start making withdrawals (typically in retirement).In my opinion, purchasing SFR with an ira is not efficient, as in rental property.

I'm trying to connect the dots (not arguing or questioning) 🙂Thanks in advance  I am just saying the average voter cares much more about things like the cost of gas and thus the gas tax than they do about tax depreciation or 1031 exchanges, which they will likely never utilize.

HI Cory,That is wrong, when a property is inherited there is no title seasoning period of 6 months (typical title seasoning period after a purchase or taking title).You should be able to apply and cash out right away.You will have to show the legal documents and court award letter to document the inheritance and transfer of title.

IMHO, there is NO reason to not be on Airbnb, unless you have a goldmine site that keeps you booked up, and you don't have enough time to handle all the leads from Airbnb (if you have too many leads, then you have a different "problem" of your prices not being high enough typically.)
