We finally submitted a written offer and we are waiting for an answer- hopefully we'll hear today.

I am not enjoying the process but am happy I have an opportunity to sell one of my previous homes without having to deal with a 1031.Thanks to everyone.  

- What legal steps are prudent regarding a financial partnership with my girlfriend (We are planning to undertake this whole effort together)Who I feel I need to meet with: (This is not a solicitation, this is what I have taken away from "The ABC's of real estate Investment")- Lenders, I need to establish a lending partner who can advise me on my short term options and my long term strategic goals.- Real estate agents, I need to start getting in touch with the current state of the market, and start translating the theoretical book learning into practice.

We are looking to buy a house of our own and she asked for some time to save, so in the meantime, I was going to take some of my extra savings from sharing rent to start investing on my own.However, from day one, living in the house has been a nightmare. 

We are thinking about house hacking the deal. 

We are new investors looking to start our real estate journey in the next year or so.

We are self employed and do not have enough history to get a mortgage.

The area we are looking in has super high tenant quality, little vacancies, very 'hot' neighborhood and the buying competition is intense.

You migjt find you actually enjoy flipping, or being a landlord, or like me, doing a little of everything which I equate to helping families.
