This is my first post of any kind here on Bigger Pockets, although I have been listening to the podcast for a couple of weeks.

I'm a Big Pockets listener (podcast) and I love everything that has to do with Real Estate Investing, I work for Farmers insurance and a wonderful agent who has been in the insurance business for 24years!

After spending a ton of time on this site and listening to a bunch of podcasts, I am finally taking action.  

Of course, you need to read The Ultimate Beginners Guide to REI here on BPIf you haven’t already, please read/listen to these books ASAP!

This site is great, be sure to set up key word alerts and listen to the podcasts!

@Javier Osuna I think the 2% rule put places like Milwaukee on the map- listen to BP Podcast 29 from 2013.

He also has an academy that you can join but you really don't need to if you listen to his show from the beginning.Chris Chico sells a program that he calls virtual wholesaling that teaches people how to do wholesaling from a distance.

Make sure to listen to all the BP podcasts, read the articles on the main blog and be active in these forums to learn a ton very quickly about any topic in real estate you want to know more about.This is also a great place to meet people that can be assets to your business.
