Hi Keith, welcome to BP.

This is a great place to learn. Make sure to listen to all the BP podcasts, read the articles on the main blog and be active in these forums to learn a ton very quickly about any topic in real estate you want to know more about.

This is also a great place to meet people that can be assets to your business. Lots of great connections all over but we also have a very strong and active contingent here in MA on here so make sure to find them (Set up some keyword alerts to find out about local topics) and get connected.  Pretty sure I talked with your partner on here the other day, since I will guess not to many new people, working with a partner, from Dracut.  BTW from D-Town myself, DHS class of '96, Go Middies!  :)

Anyway besides doing all that on here make sure to get out to some of the many local investor events we have.  The NEREIA in Chelmsford is very good and meets this Wednesday.  There is also a good new one up in Nashua that @Gal Peretz organizes that I'd recommend.  Also can look at the quarterly Boston Investor Meetup in Reading organized by @Justin Silverio with the next one being on the 10th.  I'd also highly recommend checking out the Black Diamond meeting in Waltham that @Ann Bellamy and her partners put on.  Little bit father away but the best one around right now.  Lots of other options on the North Shore, around Boston (actually if you guys are in the part of town near 93 the Boston AREIA is an easy shot down to Medford right off the highway, draws well from that area and southern NH for that reason), and south of the city.
