I'll glance at the Zestimate, but don't put much weight in it.

It never makes sense in my opinion to try and make $600 more per year and have vacancies and repairs that exceed that short term gain.

I am looking to make investments in the future as well as gain more knowledge on investments to be able to assist my clients with purchasing decisions. 

I don't think the question is "How can you lose" but how much can you gain.

In my area the money earns up to 1% per month (interest is only paid on the starting bid, anything over is dead weight) while also giving you the opportunity to get a property with the lien.

Also, you get to paydown the debt service over time with rental income which means more gains in a way, and if for some reason you want to paydown and refi you can.

I'm new here and have a question I hope people can help me gain insight into.  

Not a huge gain, but I'll take it.

I think marginal gains with weekly payments to debts one at a time until paid to now stay focused.
