Hi all, I am wondering if anyone has tried a microloan or crowd funding to raise money for marketing campaigns.

After a 5 year campaign — and almost 20 years for the TU — the City Council unanimously voted in the Rental Housing Registration & Inspection Program, a bill that will dramatically shift the power imbalance between landlords and tenants and hold the slumlords in our community accountable

Not to discredit the agent, but I think he picked up this seller (who has shown a willingness to hire fly-by-night outfits) through a broad marketing campaign and doesn't know what he's gotten into.

The start-up funds would go to marketing campaigns in the Bronx and Westchester, NY, also Newark, NJ to off market apartment building.

She said she can't do anything unless I have the case/file numbers... oh, and only 10 records :( that's not much of a direct mail campaign.

Ok BP family, I've just started my marketing campaign (yellow letters), and I've taken the suggestion from BP of setting up a google voice account.

An "expert" in wholesaling suggested reaching out to local attorneys asking for them to refer clients to us that may be looking to liquidate residential properties.Being that you never get a second chance to make a first impression, we want to make sure we go about this the right way.How might I go about figuring out the message and form of direct marketing (typed letter, written letter, postcard, etc.) that's best for this campaign?

Do you have a mailing campaign going or are you only hooked up on the local MLS?

I have 2 primary goals.....first, partner with a wholesaler that I can build a long lasting and mutually beneficial relationship with (which is not a simple feat)......and/or second, I am interested in creating my own marketing campaigns to purchase wholesale properties direct!
