Anyone done a 1031 with First American Title?

That's a lot of wear and tear on a building with 1-2 adults per bedroom who know it's a temporary living situation vs a couple with two kids who want to stay there until the kids graduate high school.Also, don't immediately write off a property manager.  

Both projects are on the coast of Ecuador, but I would be marketing to people in the US, most likely retirees, as Ecuador has a massive American & Canadian expat community.In order for me to get started as an investor myself, I need funding.

It seems the millennial generation (my generation) prefers to rent and the standard "american dream" is shifting to an alternative approach.

I personally ended up going with American Heritage.

When I bought the place there was a couple and their two adult sons living there using it as a three-bedroom.

Not when I’m 65.My peers at college were all excited about being adults and getting jobs.

@Mike Cumbie  Great point I have Asian clients that came over to the US and we had a bank meeting with the pres of the bank and senior management.. the card exchange was quite formal.. two hand delivery and a bow of respect.this particular clients Asian business is work 3 times the bank... but you would never have known it when you watched him present his card to the bank pres.. out our way there are Class's we can take through MLS for dealing with foreign clients so we don't look like boorish Americans.
