Plus free garage in the back i coud rent for storage space 50-70 a month.

It's almost like how the hell do you do that when sometimes it feels like you're just the little fish in the big tank?

Got hit pretty hard when the market tanked because I got so many of them back, but its a pretty viable strategy in an appreciating market with mortgages as tight as they are. 

These included lot prep, septic tank, electrical and water connections, simple porches and steps, foundation skirting, etc.

We had to pay not only for all the filing fees, but we were required to hire a moving company for their belongings to be transported to a storage unit WE had to pay for under their name for 1 month.

My family almost relocated there a couple of times but ultimately never did. ...So the oil boom has come and now with increased global supply of oil, prices have tanked and the US oil industry is feeling it.

Ex:  buy and hold, fix and flip, wholesale, notes, lease option, single family, multifamily, apartment building, developing, tax liens, hml, short sale, subject to, self storage, parking lots, reits/syndicate, senior housing, land contract, mobile homes, special needs housing, etc.There is a guru for each strategy very rare will you find someone that will do all of the above. 

Mother believes everything in the house has value and wants to go through it and box it up for storage.
