You can also learn to use the Zestimate to get a very rough estimate of value - it may be off by a wide margin, but if you figure out is is consistently 20% low or high or whatever for your market, then it becomes a useful screening tool.

Just wondering if that is an angle that others have worked into the negotiations when the property is for sale by owner...
