In my opinion you will still need a CPA even if you have an accountant. 10-20 doors does not have to be a lot of work and when you get into many more doors you can always revisit the situation then.

You must haves lived in it for At Least 2 of those years which means you had to have rented it for Less than 3 of those 5 years (5 minus however long you rented it must equal 2 years or more).Excellent answer, with two corrections:A.

If you want to maximize your max rents then if might be a good idea to condomise it so that you can get rents as two separate units.
