Very high energy, very good about communications at all hours.

I also find dealing with numbers better suits me than dealing with emotion. 

The only time I have heard of someone paying more than the appraisal was a home buyer with emotional equity applied.

I'd suggest consulting your attorney, so any communication you use is "attorney approved" - there are lots of laws surrounding bankruptcy.
