I think when you are buying in the WA the level of service and amenities are extraordinary, but my my personal opinion is the it quite inflated due to brand recognition.

It is a bit unconventional:1) Co-purchase a home with another single parent in 2021 that is larger than our current living situations in order to establish a mutual support system (both have steady employment - I'm a DoD fed and she is a long time teacher in DC)2) Once new residence is established, rent out my current townhome which continues to appreciate in value due to a new high school being built (first rental property)3) Purchase a multi-family unit with a small collaborative I am working to establish to provide collective pooling of resources.

Landlords are not even allowed to enforce the back rent owed in many cases now....I own multiple rental houses throughout King County, bought 1 more earlier this year and was buying 4 more this year but I will absolutely NOT buy more rentals in WA.
