After their departure, I was surprised to receive a complaint from Airbnb about the cleanliness and amenities in my unit – which, to my knowledge, was in top condition as I always do thoughrough checks.The guests reported that the apartment was not clean, specifically mentioning dusty shelves and a non-working coffee maker.

We explored buying a second place up there but pricing is currently crazy up there right now prices are quite a bit higher than they were even just a year ago and places are flying off the shelves with multiple offers, going over asking etc...

I've done some high end rehabs for 3 of my rentals, put in closet organizers (the basic white shelving and rods you buy as a kit from home depot.. e.g. $70-100/kit).  

These include art, pictures, shelving and window coverings.

The oddest thing was that I agreed the kitchen panty could use some new paint, although you could barely see the walls since it was so small, 20" door IIRC.I cut some new shelves and put a couple of coats of oil-based paint on so I could do the entire job in one trip.
