Tom,I am investing in Western Michigan with another BP member here.My general thoughts are that it's been punished for being in the same state as Detroit, but as an investing hub it has enough of its own merits to be strongly considered.Just like any other city, there are war zones.

Those who make bad decisions and never learn from it are not bad people, just simply not lucky enough to be smart, They're pretty much doomed and they don't deserve to be punished for it.

In these cases, it is the executive branches' job to apprehend the person they believe has broken the law, and to hand that person over to the judicial branch of the government, which is responsible for determining if the person actually broke the law and then for doling out punishment.

It is not the right way to do but it works, and it is not an unlawful thing to do but when you dont remove it after being asked, then there would be a problem.

Believe me not to many other investors are going to touch these properties, I am a glutton for punishment and must enjoy pain.

Filing a flase lien is unlawful in all states.I'm not familiar with the transaction you mentioned where you file a deed of trust between the purchase price and market value or for what purpose.

Second, any investor who purposely defrauds should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
